GB-A was engaged by Court Services Victoria to refurbish the courtrooms and ground-floor entry foyer at the County Court of Victoria in Melbourne. The photography was commissioned by GB-A to record the completed work.

The brief centred on the new foyer and the updated courtroom fit-outs. The foyer ceiling was photographed on its own and in relation to the rest of the space. One view looks through the foyer windows to the Supreme Court across the road, an older civic building that contrasts with the modern interior of the County Court.

With the courthouse in daily use, the shoot was carried out after hours.
