Ian ten Seldam is an independent photographer based in Melbourne, Australia.

Ian specialises in architectural, interior and advertising photography, with commissioned work spanning other styles including macro.

Operating as Ian ten Seldam Photography since 2006, Ian has a client base including major corporates such as NAB and ANZ, architecture and interior firms including Carr Design Group, Woods Bagot and Geyer and creative and brand agencies including Principals, Six Black Pens and Zebra Direction.

Ian's work has been recognised individually as a finalist in the Moran Prize and highly commended in the Photography Masters Cup and in conjunction with clients, including NAB Private Wealth's win at the Rebrand Awards. Ian has been shortlisted for the 2026 INDE.Awards in the Commercial Photography category and his work has featured in publications including Artichoke.

Ian is known for a responsive, collaborative approach and the ability to nail the brief. It's all about accurately representing and enhancing brands through striking imagery, delivered on time and within budget.

In addition to photography, editing and post-production, Ian can arrange other aspects of photographic production on request, including location scouting, talent and prop sourcing, styling, hair and makeup. Ian works locally and nationally, pending availability.
